ARK Environmental initiated a Quality Control System in 2008 which was recently updated to the new Standard - ISO 9001:2008.

The Quality Control Manager ensures that all members of the ARK Environmental team, both site and office-based, understand their part in contributing to the set-up and maintenance of good working practice and adherence to the Quality Plan.

Sub-contractors are advised of the Quality Plan and selected from the Approved Contractor List which is prepared and maintained using strict pre-qualification procedures.

Ark Environmental's Quality Plan is also introduced to new employees who are made fully aware of their role by way of induction and accompanying written handouts.

Regular internal audits are undertaken by the Quality Control Manager. The audits, in association with those of external bodies, ensure that quality standards are being maintained.
