Construction Services - ARK Environmental UKThe CDM Regulations 2007 requires all contractors to plan, manage and monitor thier activities to ensure they are doing everything possible to ensure the health and safety and welfare of thier operatives on site. ARK Environmental's inspectors and auditors are all experienced construction and safety professionals who view any time spent on site as an opportunity to affect and improve safety standards and to assist works and management to identify and control many varied risks.

ARK Environmental can provide the following services:

  • Detailed audit of the site safety management system delievered by NEBOSH Construction health and safety specialist consultants.
  • Physical inspection of the site identifying hazards and advising on the management of risks.
  • Detailed review of all relevant site documentation including the construction phase health and safety plan, risk assessments and method statements, induction and attendance registers, permits and any other safe systems of work.

CDM Co-ordinators

We will also act as CDM Co-ordinator (CDM-C) in accordance with regulation 20 of the CDM regulations 2007. As CDM-C we shall:

  • Issue notification to the Health and Safety Executive of the proposed project.
  • Advise and assist clients to comply with thier duties under CDM Regulations
  • Pre-pare the Pre-Tender health and safety plan.
  • Ensure co-operation between designers such as architects and engineers.
  • All health and Safety aspects of the design are properly considered and co-ordinated.
  • Identify and collect pre-construction information and pass it to the relevant parties.cdm regulation
  • Produce or update a health and safety file.
  • Advise on the competance and resources of the designer and the contractors. Assist the principle Contractor with the preperation of the health and safety file for the client.
